We are located in the Midwestern U.S. and have combined our passion for designer handbags with our love for kids: a portion of the proceeds from each handbag sold goes directly to The Children's Hunger Fund (CHF)*, which serves needy children in more than 70 countries worldwide. Handbags4Hunger is not a charity; it's a business model designed to create awareness and a flow of money from our sales to CHF, to help eliminate world hunger. Consumers buy our handbags, and at no cost to them, money is sent directly to CHF.*

Who is Handbags4Hunger?

We are a safe and secure shopping site where a portion the proceeds of each designer handbag sold goes to charity. Our pledge to you is that every one of our items is authentic and brand new. We strongly oppose the sale of counterfeits, replicas, or "designer inspired" products. The handbags we sell are authentic designer brands including: Calvin Klein, Coach, Dooney & Bourke, Kate Spade, Kathy VanZeeland, Kenneth Cole, Liz Claiborne, Ralph Lauren, and Tommy Hilfiger. We are not affiliated with any of the brands we sell, nor are we affiliated with CHF.

How does Handbags4Hunger work?

Handbags4Hunger sends a portion of the profits made on our sales directly to CHF, to fight world hunger. The consumer does not pay extra for this. Since its launch in 2008, Handbags4Hunger shoppers have raised enough to buy 80 pounds of staple food items, enough to feed a hungry family of five for four months.

Do handbags offered by Handbags4Hunger cost more?

No, they do not. Handbags4Hunger contributes money to CHF by sharing a portion of its profit to help fight world hunger. We offer only top quality authentic designer brands to ensure our customers remain loyal. Giving isn't the reason to buy our handbags; it is simply built into the product and the act of purchasing our products. In fact, we believe that some people will buy Handbag4Hunger handbags without even knowing what we are about or without even knowing the positive impact they've just made on the lives of those who are dealing with hunger issues.

How does the money raised get to where it needs to go?

Our business model combines the marketing power of the world's leading handbag brands with our commitment to combat world hunger. Every dollar raised is immediately donated by Handbags4Hunger to CHF, effectively translating into a rapid impact on the lives of people in need.

Are there any other charities that the money can be directed to?

At present, all funds generated by the sale of our handbags will support CHF, which was chosen due to its 4 star rating by Charity Navigator, America's premier independent charity evaluator.*
*A future release of our website will include a drop-down menu for our customers to designate which charity will receive the proceeds from their purchase.

Are my orders tax-deductible in the U.S.?

Purchases do not qualify for a tax deduction under IRS regulations. Only direct donations to a non-profit organization qualify for a tax deduction under current regulations.

How can I donate money?

Handbags4Hunger is not a charity, and we do not accept donations. If you would like to donate money directly to The Children's Hunger Fund, you may do so through their website at www.chfus.org/en/donate/give a secure site which utilizes SSL certification.

About the Owner of Handbags4Hunger

Lisa Stadtmueller is the owner and operator of Handbags4Hunger. She is deeply saddened by the thought of children starving, or of kids even going to bed hungry. She is proud to support The Children's Hunger Fund.

Lisa is a wife and mother of 2, and a life-long lover of cats, children and chocolate. She graduated from Law school with honors in 1990, and still believes in her main reason for wanting to become a lawyer: so that she could "help people." After 18 years of working for Corporate America she made a break in 2008 to start doing something meaningful for others. Handbags4Hunger is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream.

Our Business Policies and Services

Your complete satisfaction is our goal. If, for any reason, you are not 100% satisfied with any purchase, we encourage you to contact us for assistance or you may return your purchase.*

Once we receive your item back in its original condition (tags must be still attached to qualify for a return or exchange), we will process the refund. Buyers are responsible for return shipping charges unless the return is due to our error. Returns must be made within 30 days of receipt.

*Please note: All international sales are final.

Shipping:

We ship to all U.S. locations (including AK, HI, Puerto Rico, APO/FPO) using USPS First Class, Priority Mail and Next Day. We also offer international shipping via USPS Global Express. We ship to many but not all countries. The cost to ship internationally will be given before you are required to complete your order. Any applicable taxes or duties are not included. All costs must be paid in U.S. dollars but you can switch to your preferred currency to get an idea of the cost involved.

Orders shipping to Wisconsin will have 5% Sales Tax added.

Returns:

Handbags4Hunger will gladly accept the return or exchange of merchandise within 30 days of ship date in new unused condition with all original tags still attached.* Within 3-5 business days of receipt, Handbags4Hunger will refund your purchase price, minus shipping, handling, gift packaging, and a 10% return fee.

Merchandise can be returned within 7 days of receipt for an exchange or full refund.* Returns or exchanges received after 7 days are subject to a 10% restocking fee.

Refunds will be in the original form of payment. All items are subject to inspection before a refund will be issued. Returned items should not show signs of use and must have tags attached.

Refunds are made within 3-5 business days of receipt via a reversal of your payment. A tracking number and insurance is not mandatory but highly encouraged as we will not be responsible for a lost package.

For exchanges, your credit card on file will be credited for the purchase price of the original item and charged for the purchase price of the new item. Shipping is not refundable. Exchanges received after 7 days are subject to a 10% restocking fee. If your new item is no longer available, we will issue a refund instead.

Return/Exchange Conditions:

Please complete the Return Authorization Form (RFA) before sending your return. Please tell us if there is anything we can do to help you avoid the need to return your item.
Once you submit your RFA, you will receive a "Return Merchandise Authorization" email. Please include a printed copy of this email with your repackaged item. If you are unable to include a copy, please clearly print your name, email address, mailing address, Return Merchandise Authorization and stock number/item number so your return can be processed.
Returns must be received by us within 30 days of ship date of the product.
Item must be in new unused condition with all tags attached and original packaging. No item will be accepted after it has been used.
All returns must be accompanied by a copy of your invoice.

*To honor and assist the great work of certain charities, Handbags4Hunger contributes 10% of the revenue from this website to The Children's Hunger Fund. Handbags4Hunger Founder Lisa Stadtmueller is independently donating to these organizations that make a huge difference in people's lives: "My life has been extremely blessed. Whenever you purchase a handbag from this site, Handbags4Hunger will donate a portion of that sale (approximately 10%) to one of the organizations profiled on this page. We currently have one charity (CHF), but plan to have more in the future from which the customer can choose to have their purchases benefit.
